Recollection

Just because it happens once does not mean you only get to be there once.

Ask anyone about their wedding and they will tell you it went by in a blur. You were being moved from one thing to the next, and the day you spent a year planning was over before you had time to stand in the middle of it and look around. We film it in every direction at once, so that you can.

Step inside a real moment

This is not a video of the day.
It is the room it happened in.

Drag the frame below and look anywhere a guest could look. In a headset there is no frame at all — you are standing in it.

Drag in any direction

One camera, one moment. A recollection holds every moment of the day, and every camera that was on it.

The Experience

Every angle, kept

A wedding film shows you what one camera was pointed at. It is a lovely thing, and it is somebody else's version of your day — everything outside that frame is simply gone, and it does not come back.

What is outside the frame is usually the part you would want most. Your mother's face during the vows. Your grandfather at table four, laughing at something nobody filmed. The dance floor at midnight from where you were actually standing. A camera pointed one way cannot keep any of it.

Recollection keeps all of it. Every moment of your day holds every camera we ran on it, playing together in perfect step. Be at the front for the vows, then turn to the back of the room to watch your family watching you — the same instant, from somewhere else. No loading, no restarting. The other angles never stopped.

So you can go back on your first anniversary, and your tenth. You can show it to a child who was not born yet. And one day it will be the closest thing there is to standing in a room with someone who is no longer in it — not a photograph of them, but them, moving, on the best day of your life.

It is not a video you watch. It is a room you re-enter.

Where it opens

On whatever you already have

A recollection is a link. It needs no app, no account for your guests, and nothing installed on anything.

Laptop or desktop

Open the link and drag to look around. Plug in the XR glasses and turn your head instead — the glasses' own motion sensors drive the view.

Phone or tablet

The same link, in your pocket. Move the phone itself to look around the room, or drag with a finger. It works for anyone you send it to.

VR headset

Open the link in a Meta Quest's browser and press one button. The frame disappears and you are standing in the room at full scale.

There is an app as well, for iPhone. It downloads your whole recollection once and then needs no connection at all — the version for a plane, or a house with bad wifi.

How it works

Three steps to somewhere you can stand

01

Filmed in every direction

Cameras are placed where the moments actually happen — the aisle, the vows, the first dance. Not one angle chosen for you. All of them, at once.
02

Cut into moments

Your day becomes a sequence of named moments, in the order it happened, and each one holds every camera we ran on it — playing together, in step.
03

You step back inside

Look around the room as it was, and switch between angles mid-moment without losing your place. The other cameras never stopped rolling.

Delivery

One recollection.
Choose what it arrives on.

The glasses, the headset, or both. Whatever you choose is yours to keep, and the film itself is identical on all of them.

The picture stops being a screen and fills your vision to the edges, so you are not looking at the room, you are standing in it. Heavier, and it charges — the trade is the most immersive version there is.

The headset for the first time you watch it, and for showing someone the whole day. The glasses for the sofa, the plane, and the tenth time — the version you reach for because it is easy.

Quoted for your day

How many, and of which

Tell us how many of each you want and we will quote it that way. Two pairs of glasses so you can watch together, a headset for the first evening and glasses for every one after, or one of each — it is your box.

None of it changes the recollection itself, which plays perfectly well on a phone or a laptop with nothing plugged in at all. And if you already own a Meta Quest, open the same link in its browser — you need no package for that.

  • The whole day, in every direction Getting ready through the last dance, cut into named moments you can open one at a time.
  • Every angle of every moment, in step Turn from the vows to your family watching you, at the same instant, with nothing reloading.
  • Your hardware, yours to keep Glasses, a headset, or both — and however many of each you ask for.
  • Guest passes you send yourself A link, an email, or a code on screen to scan at the table. They need no account and no app.
  • A private page that stays online Open it from anywhere, on anything, for as long as you want it.
  • The app, for when there is no signal It downloads your whole recollection once and then needs no connection at all.

A fully standalone setup — no phone or laptop at all, with hand gestures to switch angles — can be arranged on request.

The people who were there

Your day was not only yours

Every recollection comes with guest passes, so the people who were there — and the ones who could not be — can step inside it too.

You send them yourself, in seconds: a link, an email, or a code on screen for someone to scan at the table. They need no account and no app; it opens in their browser. Grandparents who could not travel, the friend whose flight was cancelled, the cousin who missed the speeches.

Guests can watch, and cannot invite anyone else. Who sees your wedding stays your decision.

Questions

The things couples ask us

Is this just my wedding video in a headset?

No. A film is one camera's version of the day, chosen for you. A recollection is the day itself, filmed in every direction at once and cut into the moments it was made of — and within each moment, every camera we ran on it plays together. You can be at the front for the vows and then turn round to watch your family watching you, at the same instant, without anything reloading.

Do I need a VR headset?

Only if you want one, which is what the packages are for. XR glasses are the size of sunglasses and plug into the phone or laptop you already have. A headset is more immersive and more of a thing to put on. And a recollection plays perfectly well on a plain screen with a finger or a mouse, with nothing plugged in at all.

Do my guests need anything to watch it?

A link. You invite guests yourself from your own page — by email, a copied link, or a QR code you hold up at a table — and they open it in whatever browser they already have. Guests can watch and cannot invite anyone else; that stays yours.

What does it cost?

It depends on the day: how long we are there, how many cameras, how many venues, and which package you want. Tell us your date and we will come back with a real number rather than a range that turns out not to apply to you.

How long do we keep it?

Indefinitely. It lives online so you can open it from anywhere, and the app downloads the whole thing to a device so it plays with no connection at all — on a plane, at a grandparent's house, or in ten years when this website has been redesigned twice.

Can you film something that is not a wedding?

Yes, and we would like to. Engagements and receptions, birthdays and anniversaries, graduations, christenings and quinceañeras, reunions, retirements, and the corporate events that are worth remembering. Anything that happens once.
